Depends on where my son deploys next! My two girls are 4 and 6 — we would love this. Right now I would love to visit my friend in Anchorage, AK!
I would like our first distance trip to be to California to visit family, the beach, and to take my husband to Disney Land kids too for his first time. I guess Massachusetts would be my first pick from those states. I would most like to visit Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. So much of our history happened in that area.
I do remember Highlights as a child and I am up there in the grandma age bracket now. Love, love, loved it! Which Way U. I would like to visit Vermont or Maine. Love Highlights and currently subscribe to high five! I think this set would be an excellent addition to our curriculum.
Seems like a roadtrip should be next to visit some if these states! I have thought about purchasing this, but money was kind of tight at the time. I will need to reconsider it though!
Next year we are doing a road trip along the Mississippi. This would be great to have along! I have visited Alaska and it was wonderful.
I have a blog of the weeks I stayed in Ketchikan and traveled to Sitka. We are studying US Geography right now and this would be a wonderful addition! Thank you for offering it. The state I would most likely visit is Mississippi. I love Vicksburg and its historic landmarks!
I would love to visit Florida. Have never been there and we would love to go to Disney one of these days. I would most like to visit Alaska or Hawaii… I suppose anywhere would be beautiful. Really, any state would be great! This sounds so fun and informative. We hope to buy an RV soon. Love our Beautiful Country! Would love to win this so we can increase the frequency of shipments!
Your email address will not be published. Which Way USA has been around since my high schoolers were preschoolers and maybe longer! Perhaps you are a reader whose family has not had the chance to get to know Which Way USA , I encourage you to give it a try and enjoy getting mail in the mailbox every month.
When our kids were small, they loved getting a new set and testing out their state trivia along with marking a new place on the U. Join in the fun with U. Teaching U. Use Facts — From the books to solve the puzzles. State Maps — Each state map is illustrated on one side and includes state stats along with historical highlights and famous people.
The flip side has photographs of the famous places. You get a new set each month and each one includes two states, so you can easily spend 2 weeks at a time learning about all of the U. It would be a great way to supplement any other geography-based activities or lessons they are learning in school, at home, or on their own. Sorry about my craptastic picture, guys!
My computer decided to reformat my SD cards, and now my camera no longer recognizes them. This pictures is courtesy of my not so awesome webcam. I will upload better pictures for you guys later. Christian and I give this two thumbs up. Christian loved going through the activity book and doing as many of the activities as he could. He also was really intrigued by the state maps, pointing things out as I read the facts aloud.
Just as an FYI as far as the state maps, one side is a colorful, illustrated map of the state that includes fun facts and general info about the state capital, flag, state bird, state motto, major cities and their populations, historical highlights, famous people, etc.
On the back are pictures of some of the famous landmarks with fun, fact-filled commentary from Tripp and Scout. Matching he enjoyed these as well, though they were a bit more complicated than the ones he is used to. The digital experience is also really fun and engaging.
You or your child can set up their account. I thought that was a nice touch considering the dangers of the internet. After that, your child can pick their team and their opponents. Then the games begin!
